My Approach
Child-led
Your child’s interests, strengths, needs, and pace guide our work.
I follow your child’s lead to understand what motivates them, what feels meaningful, and where they feel most comfortable. By building from their interests and strengths, therapy becomes more engaging, empowering, and connected.
Play-based
Play is how children explore, connect, communicate, and learn.
I use play as a natural and meaningful way to support development and build skills. When children are engaged in something they enjoy, they are more motivated to participate, take risks, practice new skills, and build confidence—all while having fun.
Strengths-based
I start with what your child can do and build from there.
Every child has their own strengths, interests, personality, and unique way of learning. I build on those strengths to support areas that may be more challenging, helping children experience success, develop confidence, and see themselves as capable communicators.
Family-centered
You know your child best, and your voice matters.
Caregivers are an important part of the speech therapy process. I collaborate with families to understand what matters most to you, identify meaningful goals, and develop strategies that fit naturally into everyday life. The goal is to support your child in the places that matter most—at home, in the community, and in the routines you share together.
