About Me
My name is Avery and I am a pediatric speech language pathologist. Being an SLP is the best job in the world because I don’t HAVE to go to work, I GET to go to work.
I’m passionate about helping children communicate with confidence and connect with the people around them. I love partnering with families to support each child’s growth and celebrate the meaningful milestones they achieve along the way.
My therapy approach is client-centered, family-centered, and highly individualized. I use strengths-based and routines-based strategies to promote communication beyond the therapy setting while partnering closely with families to encourage carryover into daily life. I also incorporate sensory strategies to support regulation and engagement, with the goal of helping every child build confidence, independence, and meaningful communication skills.
